Quick Recipe for Cooking a Brisket of Beef:


  • 1 beef brisket (3-4 pounds)
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 large onion, sliced
  • 1 cup beer
  • 1 cup chilli sauce
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar


Preheat the oven to 165°C (325°F)[4].

Season the brisket on all sides with salt and pepper and place it in a glass baking dish.

Cover the brisket with a layer of sliced onion.

In a medium bowl, mix together the beer, chilli sauce, and brown sugar.

Pour the sauce mixture over the brisket.
